Yan Xingzhong, director of the Justice Bureau of Nanjing Jianye District, said in his speech that corporate compliance has been widely valued by the government and enterprises, and the enterprise compliance pilot in Jiangsu Province is also at the forefront of the country. At present, economic development and social environment are facing unprecedented changes, and the impact on all walks of life is relatively large. To ensure that everything runs on the track of the rule of law, the premise is that the government administers according to law, the enterprise operates in compliance, and it is necessary to shift from after-the-fact compliance to pre-compliance, so as to test the compliance risks in practice, in order to truly protect the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises and promote the healthy development of enterprises.
In his speech, Ouyang Benqi, dean and doctoral supervisor of Southeast University Law School, sorted out the process of corporate compliance reform, pointed out the positive significance of enterprises to build a new compliance management system, and the important role of third-party assessment mechanisms in helping enterprises build compliance systems from the judicial level. President Ouyang pointed out that lawyers can make great achievements in the reform of corporate compliance, not only can participate in national legislation, but also can directly help enterprises to create a full-chain compliance management system that covers the whole chain before and after the event, and can also participate in the assessment of corporate compliance as members of the third-party mechanism.

This is also the first time that Southeast University has jointly established a corporate compliance research center with local government agencies and legal service agencies.

At the meeting, Liang Yunbao, director and associate professor of the Criminal Law Department of Southeast University Law School, elaborated on the localization strategy of corporate criminal compliance under the title of ISO37301 and the Localization Exploration of Corporate Criminal Compliance in China, and analyzed the motivations and differences of corporate compliance construction from the perspectives of shareholders and investors, close business stakeholders and the public. Mr. Zhou Wenbo, managing partner of Theptitude Republic Nanjing Office, delivered a keynote speech on Compliance, Always on the Road, analyzing the establishment of the compliance demonstration mechanism and the third-party supervision and evaluation mechanism from the three levels of breadth, depth and height; Li Yan, consultant of The Nanjing Office of Tianda Republic, shared the Knowledge and Practice of Criminal Compliance of State-Owned Enterprises, and analyzed the principles of the construction of the criminal compliance system of state-owned enterprises, the compliance construction of the crisis handling mechanism of state-owned enterprises, and other hot topics of concern to enterprises. Representatives of legal officers from state-owned enterprises also shared their practical experience in the construction and operation of enterprise compliance.
