In the afternoon of March 9, 2023, Zhu Yiyan, a member of the Procuratorate Committee of Suzhou Municipal People's Procuratorate, and Jiang Guipeng, Director of Procuratorial Information Technology Department, visited our institute for cooperation and exchange between the institute and the school.

During the exchange session, both sides discussed how to further promote the cooperation between the two sides. Commissioner Zhu Yiyan and Director Jiang Guipeng briefly reported on the work of Suzhou People's Procuratorate in the field of digital procuratorate and corporate compliance respectively, and hoped to take the cooperation between the Procuratorate and the school as an opportunity to conduct targeted cooperation and research in this field. On behalf of the College, Dean Ouyang Benqi firstly expressed a warm welcome to the leaders of Suzhou People's Procuratorate, and introduced the development achievements and work profile of the College in recent years in terms of discipline strength and research team composition. After that, Professor Yin Ji, Associate Researcher Xu Minchuan, Associate Researcher Miao Zeyi and Associate Professor Qian Xiaoping proposed cooperation for strengthening communication between theoretical research and judicial practice from the perspectives of using the advantages of major research platforms of the law school, digital prosecution business traction and cutting-edge technology exploration.

This symposium is a good opportunity for the cooperation between the prosecution and the university, and will become a booster for the common development of Suzhou People's Procuratorate and Southeast University Law School. Southeast University Law School will continue to play the advantages of disciplines, platforms and think tanks to provide more intellectual support for digital prosecution. In the future, both sides will strengthen the sharing and integration to meet the needs of the times and further promote the high-quality development of digital prosecution.
