On March 17, 2023, Professor Ouyang Benqi, Dean of Southeast University College of Law, together with Professor Yin Ji, Associate Professor Liang Yunbao (Deputy Procurator General of Taixing People's Procuratorate) and Associate Professor Qian Xiaoping were invited by Taixing People's Procuratorate and Rudong County People's Procuratorate to attend the inauguration ceremony of our practice units in the two grassroots procuratorates.

On the morning of March 17, Southeast University Law School and Taixing City Procuratorate cooperated to establish a practice unit of corporate compliance procuratorate research base. Wang Jianwu, member of the Standing Committee of Taixing Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, and Ouyang Benqi, Dean of Southeast University School of Law, jointly opened the plaque. Zhu Hua, Party Secretary and Procurator General of Taixing City Procuratorate, presided over the inauguration ceremony.

Before the unveiling ceremony, the participants took a group photo and Feng Beijia, member of the party group and director of the political department of Taixing People's Procuratorate, introduced the achievements of Taixing People's Procuratorate in recent years.

 President Ouyang Benqi and Wang Jianwu, member of the Standing Committee of Taixing Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, unveiled the plaque for the Corporate Compliance Procuratorate Research Base Practice Unit.

At the speech stage, President Ouyang Benqi introduced the cross-cutting, team-based, practical characteristics of Southeast University Law School, its development and construction achievements in recent years, and proposed that Southeast University Law School and Taixing People's Procuratorate should take the establishment of the practice unit as an opportunity to further strengthen the interaction and cooperation between the prosecution and the school, and cooperate in talent training, research and other aspects. The Law School of Southeast University and the People's Procuratorate of Taixing City should take the opportunity to establish a practice unit, further strengthen the interaction and cooperation between the prosecution and the university, cooperate in talent training, research and other aspects, strive to achieve mutual benefit and win-win, and provide services to optimize the business environment of rule of law and ensure the high-quality development of local economy in Jiangsu.

 In 2022, Southeast University and Jiangsu Provincial People's Procuratorate cooperated to establish a provincial-level corporate compliance procuratorial research base, which is dedicated to providing decision-making services, intellectual support and talent guarantee for corporate compliance reform. The inauguration of this practice unit is an important manifestation of the practicalization of the corporate compliance prosecution research base, which further strengthens the combination of theory and practice, broadens the cooperation mode between the prosecution and the university, and reflects the expanding social service function and social influence of our institute.

In the afternoon of March 17, Southeast University School of Law prosecution business management research practice unit inauguration ceremony was successfully held in Rudong County People's Procuratorate. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Party Secretary and Procurator General of Rudong County People's Procuratorate, Mr. Fang Navy, Deputy Director of Case Management Department of Jiangsu Provincial People's Procuratorate, Mr. Li Qianguo, Deputy Procurator General of Nantong City People's Procuratorate, Mr. Fang Dong, and all officers of Rudong County People's Procuratorate participated in the ceremony. President Ouyang Benqi and Fang Navy, Party Secretary and Procurator General of Rudong County People's Procuratorate, jointly opened the practice unit. According to the cooperation agreement between the Case Management Professional Committee of the Procuratorial Research Society of the Chinese Law Society and the Law Society of Southeast University, the Law School of Southeast University shall actively play the function of a think tank in the field of modernization of procuratorial business management and provide professional consultation and intellectual support for procuratorial organs. The inauguration is an important manifestation of our implementation of this cooperation agreement, and Rudong County People's Procuratorate is the first practice unit of procuratorial business management research in the province.

At the speech stage, President Ouyang Benqi introduced the development history of Southeast University Law School, the cooperation with the procuratorial organs and the construction results achieved in recent years, and proposed that Southeast University Law School should further strengthen the cooperation with Rudong County People's Procuratorate, combine theory with practice, play the external brain function of the procuratorial organs, deepen the procuratorial Business management research, broaden the scope of cooperation, and jointly promote the modernization of procuratorial business management.

After the inauguration ceremony, Professor Yin Ji of our institute gave a lecture on the topic of Modernization of Procuratorial Work, which focused on five aspects of modernization of procuratorial work, including the key content, basic structure, development orientation, misconceptions and the path to promote modernization of procuratorial work. The insights closely integrated with prosecution practice were impressive and inspiring.

 Professor Ouyang Benqi to research papers and topics of writing methods as the topic of lectures, on the correct approach to research paper writing methods, selection of topics, argumentation, expression, submission and organized scientific research and other issues were vivid and detailed explanation, so that the substantive departments of police officers on how to combine their own business research paper writing has a more profound understanding.  In recent years, our school has been expanding in scale and improving in level, and has become one of the important bases for legal talents training and legal research in China, and formed disciplinary advantages and characteristics that match with the construction of double first-class of the school. In recent years, the law discipline has been ranked in the top 10% of the Soft Science China's Best Disciplines Ranking, and has achieved excellent results in the fifth round of law discipline ranking in 2023. The inauguration ceremony was held successfully, further expanding the scope of cooperation between our school and the prosecution, and will continue to carry out a rich form of cooperation activities between the prosecution and the school in the future, to promote the integration of theory and practice, to achieve complementary advantages and promote the common development of the rule of law.
