On March 17, 2023, Prof. Wang Lusheng, PhD supervisor of Southeast University Law School and president of Jiangsu Law Society on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Law, was invited to attend the fourth Jiangsu Political Law Lecture jointly held by Jiangsu Political and Legal Committee and Jiangsu Law Society, and gave a lecture on legal artificial intelligence. The conference was held in the form of live lecture and online synchronous video conference, and the number of participants reached 11,000.
Focusing on the theme of Legal Artificial Intelligence in the Era, Prof. Wang Lusheng introduced the development history and characteristics of legal AI technology, and explained the short time of ChatGPT, GPT-4 and other AI products. Prof. Wang introduced the development of legal AI technology and the characteristics of the times, and explained the wide impact of ChatGPT, GPT-4 and other AI products in the academia and industry in a short time. After that, Prof. Wang Lusheng introduced the achievements that have been made by legal Q&A robots in litigation risk analysis, judgment result prediction, intelligent generation of litigation materials and intelligent review of contracts, and introduced in detail the technical principles of legal AI and the technical bottlenecks that exist.
During the lecture, Prof. Wang demonstrated the function of current mainstream AI products, introduced the future development trend of AI systematically, and described in detail the development prospect of AI in the direction of common legal consultation and litigation guidance, fast and accurate provision of subject information to assist in case research and judgment, providing specific case insights according to the understanding of legal norms, and generating legal documents in conjunction with the demand of political and legal work The lecture will be held in the afternoon.
