In 2024, Southeast University selected youth Story collection

The special session of the law school was successfully held

On the afternoon of March 26, the 2024 Southeast University Youth Story Gathering, sponsored by the Career Guidance Center of Southeast University and hosted by the School of Law, was successfully held in Room 304 of the Teaching Building (6) of the Kowloon Lake Campus. Mr. Xiong Xin, an alumnus of the Law School and a selected student of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, was invited as the guest speaker to give a lecture entitled Lessons for a Young Civil Servant's Exam Preparation and Ten Years' Work Experience. The lecture was hosted by Fei Qianqian, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Law School and undergraduate counselor, and Chen Yun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Law School, attended the event. The lecture attracted more than 160 students from the Law School and other departments of the university.

At the beginning of the activity, Ms. Fei first welcomed and thanked Director Xiong Xin for taking time out of her busy schedule to give a lecture, and introduced Director Xiong Xin's study and work experience in detail to the students present.

Director Xiong Xin said, it is a great honor to return to Southeast University, back to the law school to exchange and share, he started from his own experience, combined with the current employment situation for everyone in-depth and detailed introduction to explain the provincial examination, national examination, the basic situation and experience in preparation for the examination. The key nodes, coping strategies and precautions in the various stages and specific processes of public examinations such as in-test, discussion, investigation/interview, etc., were also discussed. Then, he talked about the self-cultivation that a new person should have and the key points of self-cultivation of a young civil servant, including the comprehensive ability and quality of interpersonal communication, planning, honesty and self-discipline.

In terms of career planning and career choice, Director Xiong Xin pointed out that students need to seriously and carefully think about what kind of work and life status they want, make scientific and reasonable planning and choices, and then step by step to achieve their goals. At the same time, he also shared the challenges and opportunities, puzzles and breakthroughs in the work, and encouraged contemporary young students to take responsibility, continue to learn and improve, in order to better serve the people.

Subsequently, the students present on the career planning, study, job selection and other issues have asked Director Xiong Xin questions, Director Xiong Xin in turn patiently and detailed answers, and stressed that everyone should dare to try and work hard in the face of the current complex employment situation, and achieve a valuable life.

Finally, Teacher Fei Qianqian once again thanked Director Xiong Xin for his support for the employment work of the school and the college. The lecture was successfully concluded in the warm applause of teachers and students on the scene.

This event not only provides valuable experience guidance for the 24th and 25th graduates who are preparing for the entrance examination, provincial examination and national examination, but also provides a rare opportunity for learning and exchange for the students who are preparing to join the civil service career in the future. The atmosphere is warm and the students have benefited a lot. It is believed that in the coming days, the majority of young students will devote themselves to study and work with more enthusiasm and more professional quality, and actively practice the purpose and mission of serving the country and the people with practical actions.
