In order to implement the spirit of the Notice of the Office of the Ministry of Education on Carrying Out the Special Action of the Secretaries and Principals of National Universities Visiting Enterprises to Expand Jobs and Promote Employment, on the afternoon of April 17th, the Dean of the School of Law of Southeast University, Ouyang Benqi, the Secretary of the Party Committee, Liu Qichuan, the Vice Dean, Xiong Zhanlin, the Vice Dean, Shan Pingji, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and the Deputy Dean, Chen Yun, the Director of the Centre of Practical Education in Law, Gao Ge, and the representatives of students of all grades and their entourage visited the law firm of Jiangsu Zibang. The delegation visited Jiangsu Zibang Law Firm and held the signing ceremony of ‘Comprehensive Deepening Co-operation Agreement’ to understand the demand of law firms, explore internships and employment positions, strive for more employment opportunities for graduates, and make every effort to promote fuller and higher-quality employment for law students.
Before the official start of the exchange, our teachers and students in the ZhiBang law firm party branch secretary, director ZhuNanXiang led a visit, in-depth understanding of the firm's historical development and corporate culture.

Dean Ouyang Benqi expressed his heartfelt thanks to Zibang Law Firm for the elaborate arrangement, introduced the development history of Southeast Law School and College to all the attending managing partners, and pointed out that Dongdao Law School will always adhere to the philosophy of ‘academic supremacy, student as the first priority, and teacher as the foundation’ in the cultivation of human resources, and will strengthen the interaction with Zibang Law Firm, which has the DNA of Dongdao Law School, in the areas of talent cultivation and academic research. On behalf of the college, Dean Ouyang Benqi issued letters of appointment to Director Zhu Netxiang and Director Wang Xiaoguo of Jiangsu Zhibang Law Firm, appointing the two lawyers as part-time master's supervisors of the College of Law.

Vice Dean Xiong Zhanglin and Director Sha Yongchun jointly carried out the awarding ceremony for the ‘Joint Research Base for Administrative Compliance Cases’, which will build a more comprehensive and pragmatic legal knowledge system through the combination of academics and actual cases and lay a more solid foundation for the future employment of the law students of Southeast University.
Secretary Liu Qichuan and Director Wang Xiaoguo jointly carried out the ceremony of handing over the donation plaque of ‘Zhibang Fund’. This time, Jiangsu Zibang Law Firm donated 100,000 RMB to our college again, which is used to start the construction of the new building of Dongda Law School.
Xue Bowen, a master's student of grade 22 of our institute, as a representative of the interns of Zibang Law Firm, made a speech, reviewing the experience of internship in the law firm for more than two months, and truly felt the guidance and help given by the teachers to the interns, which clarified the direction of the future job-seeking and employment, and also expressed his best wishes on behalf of the students for the deepening of the co-operation between the institute and the law firm.
During the free exchange session, both sides started a warm discussion on the content of the comprehensive deepening of the cooperation agreement, in which the leaders in charge of our institute and the practice experts of ZhiBang Law Firm shared their latest achievements and experiences in legal education and legal practice, and conducted in-depth discussions on the cultivation of excellent legal talents, the promotion of the reform of legal education, and the establishment of internship and practice bases together in the light of their respective fields of work.
